Sake Tasting: Holiday Daiginjo @ The Sake Shop

Autumn is the season when new batches of sake are finally finished, and sent out from the breweries. This is why, in Japan, the fall is considered the sake drinking season. Because of this, I like to think of winter the sake gifting season.

The Sake Shop on King Street in Honolulu is holding a Daiginjo sake tasting on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 2:00 pm – 7:30 pm. All of you Daiginjo lovers out there are in for a treat! There will be nine (9) different Daiginjo to try, and buy if you like what you tasted. The lineup is Hoyo Kura No Hana, Akitabare Suirakuten, Tedorigawa Yamahai Daiginjo, Kokuryu Ryu, Dewazakura Daiginjo, Dewazakura Ichiro, Tamagawa Kinsho, Masumi Nanago, and Kamoizumi Junmai Daiginjo.

Check out the link to their site for more info on the event, and each of the sake that will be at the tasting.
